The National Aviary’s Wings & Wildlife Art Show
perfectly combines art and conservation!
The National Aviary’s 4th Annual Wings & Wildlife Art Show tells the story of conservation through powerful and diverse art. More than 40 talented artists and makers from seven states will showcase hand-made pieces and thoughtful gifts in a wide variety of mediums and price points, all inspired by wildlife and conservation. Guests will see birds from across the globe up-close and meet the artists and makers throughout the event.
This year’s juried art show features participants in the National Aviary Maker Challenge, an 18-month initiative in which local makers create original pieces inspired by National Aviary birds. Check out mixed-media pieces by April Minech, prints by Allison Glancey, hand crafted jewelry by Emily LaSalle and Elizabeth Pasquale, paper art designs by Alexandra Abovbyan, textiles and wearables by Jennifer McBrien, and beautiful paintings by Julia Eva Bacon, just to name a few. Each artist’s work will embody wildlife and conservation in some way – helping to tell the story of birds, their habitats and the world we all share.
