Dear Handmade Arcade community,
As a result of feedback from our maker community, we are changing the requirements for Handmade Arcade’s 2021 winter marketplace.
Makers are no longer required to participate in both the virtual and in-person marketplaces.
Makers can now:
- Apply to ONLY the virtual event from Small Business Saturday, November 27 through Cyber Monday, November 29.
— OR —
- Apply to ONLY the in-person event on Friday, December 3, and Saturday, December 4 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.
— OR —
- Apply to BOTH events.
Applications close on August 13, 2021, at 11:59 PM (EST) No late applications, no exceptions.
Did you already apply?
Makers that applied before July 16 will automatically be considered for both the virtual and in-person events. Makers who wish to change their application and drop out of either the In-person or virtual event can simply log back in and select a different booth type. Click here for further instructions.
What are the participation options and fees?
The application fee is $20.* The cost covers the software used to curate the event and provides a stipend for jurors.
Three-day virtual event cost is $50 for participation.
Handmade Arcade is creating instructional videos to assist makers in populating their virtual marketplace pages.
Two-day in-person event booth costs are:
Craft Corridor Booth: $150 for an 8-foot-by-8-foot space
This option is only for new and emerging makers who have NEVER before participated in a Handmade Arcade winter event.
Standard Booth: $300 for a 10-foot-by-10-foot space.
Expanded Booth: $600 for a 20-foot-by-10-foot space.
There are no extra fees to participate in both the virtual and in-person marketplaces.
*If the application fee presents a barrier to participation, visit our application fee assistance form to receive a coupon. Handmade Arcade is committed to making sure all makers have an opportunity to apply.
Thank you for understanding, and as always, we appreciate and welcome feedback from our creative community.
