ABOUT US:
Hi! Welcome to Almanac Industries. We are Whitney and Jacob Cecil, a husband and wife team based in Baltimore, MD. We spend our days and nights designing and creating leather and paper goods, often with our two kiddos, Ezra and Maeve, at our sides. We have always been inspired by traditional fine craftsmanship and love finding ways to bring refreshed versions into your everyday.
ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS:
We apply a utilitarian approach to everything we make. Our leather goods are all hand saddle stitched for durability with thread made in Maine and we are dedicated to sourcing the majority of our leathers domestically. All of our patterns are screen-printed or stamped in our little studio. That’s where all the fun happens: in the paint splatter and geometric patterns, bits of color pop amongst the natural vegetable tanned leather. We want it to feel special when you empty your pockets at the end of each day into our Catchall Tray. We want it to feel like a treat to write a letter to a friend using our stationery set. All of our goods will age as you use them and create a patina that tells your story.
