Erel Fiber Art

Hello! My name is Erin Relac and I am a self taught fiber artist specializing in macramé. I created my first macramé wall hanging in 2019 and have spent the time since then perfecting my craft. I use cotton cord to create intricate wall hangings and plant hangers. I create all of my own designs and many of my pieces are one of a kind, inspired by vintage macramé designs of the 1970’s. I’m always looking at older pieces of mine for inspiration, seeing what I can change and how to make them new again. As time goes on and I continue this craft I’m excited to see how the layers will build upon themselves and what will evolve.
