Fox Card Co
Welcome to Fox Card Co! My name is Anna Fox and I illustrate and design all the greeting cards in this shop. During the summer of 2020 while I was quarantined at home, feeling bored and restless, I set a goal of designing 25 cards. I then found a local printer and learned how to create an online shop. Inspired by the experiences of this past year, my company’s mission is to help people connect to their loved ones by sending some love through the mail!
I create all of my designs in my home in Brookline and print the cards at a wonderful print shop in Green Tree. I have been a graphic artist for about four years for a balloon/gift box company, but before that I worked in various retail positions while dreaming of starting my own business. About My Products:
My cards start as rough pencil scribbles in my messy, doodle-filled sketchbook. I then draw my ideas on my iPad using my Apple pencil and a drawing app called ProCreate. I finalize the designs and prepare them for printing using Photoshop.
A lot of my ideas come from life experience, especially the sympathy cards. My goal is to write these cards using authentic and empathetic phrases that build connection between the sender and recipient. I also love making colorful floral patterns and whimsical cards with aliens, silly animals, and big-eyed bees. Laughing is my favorite thing to do and I love spreading joy through my art!
