About Me:

Welcome to the From These Woods page. My name is Darren Myers. I began my woodworking career by attending the Vermont Woodworking School after receiving a fine art degree at Edinboro University. After returning to Pittsburgh, I became a founding member of an arts group the Babyland Collective in 2013 and remained with the group until 2021.

About My Work:

I strive to make beautiful, 1 of a kind, pieces that are not only functional but are built to last. I use the finest food grade finishes that assure that the products stay safe and are durable. I primarily use naturally fallen Pennsylvania timber from in and around the city.
