Welcome! I am Jennifer Worden and I’ve been kiln-firing glass since 2010. I use recycled glass in the creation of my art, conferring a new, unexpected life to bottles, discarded glass dishware, and window panes. I melt, fuse, and reshape the glass into whimsical pieces designed to please the eye, engage the mind, and encourage a sustainable perspective.
I create ceramic molds in the different trees, cactus, and flower shapes, add the glass pieces, and then kiln-fire them. As the glass melts, it takes on the general shape of the ceramic mold. The recycled glass I use flows differently each time, making every item unique.
Due to the handmade nature of the pieces, please expect slight variations in size and shape. There may also be inclusions and/or bubbles in the finished pieces since recycled glass is used.
