Welcome to the K2 Metalworks maker page.  My name is Karen – I am a blacksmith & metal fabricator.  All of my work is hand-forged and fabricated using a mix of traditional and makeshift tools.  Where others see a cold starkness in metal, I see warmth and use an organic design approach to create pieces that offer a bit of joy.

My work is heavily inspired by the beauty in nature and creating pieces to be enjoyed in an outdoor environment or to bring the outdoors into the home.
