About me:

My name is Kai, and I’m a queer Asian-American artist. My career really took off when I decided to focus on pet caricatures two years ago.

At events, guests show me a photo of their pets and I draw it on the spot in 30 minutes. What sets my work apart is my unique style inspired by Japanese characters. I give the pets big, sparkly eyes and surround them with hearts and sparkles.

For the canvas paintings I use bright pinks, yellows, and blues. I add intricate details inspired by impressionism. Since I use acrylic paint markers, I can use any space as my studio. I work in cafes, parks, and on my couch with my cat.

My favorite moments are when children watch me work while their parents shop. Making a living as an artist has always been a dream of mine and my pet caricature business has allowed me to achieve this goal.

About My Products: 

I create various products, including paper caricatures, canvas paintings, magnets, prints, wall hangings, ornaments, and stickers.

What makes my work special is that it’s one of a kind. There are many caricature artists but none use my color palette or drawing style.

I also have artworks ready to take as-is, and all the characters in them are completely original.
