Hi, we are Heather and Shana! We are the owners and founders of Kitsch Craft Vintage. We have been best friends for 15 years and we love being creative together. Shana is a professional makeup artist, medical aesthetician, and fashionista. Heather is a master hair stylist, former model/actress, and super cute mom. We both love vintage style and all things kitschy/cute! We’ve always enjoyed collaborating on creative projects, from painting our own leopard print on furniture to bleaching our own vintage t-shirts. One day while we were thrifting holiday decorations, Heather was disappointed with the craftsmanship and selection of what we saw. So Shana said, “Why don’t we make our own?”
Thus our newest creative partnership,“Kitsch Craft Vintage,” was born! We collect vintage materials and combine them with new craft supplies and our personal style to create a one-of-a-kind centerpiece decoration, wreath, or jewelry piece. For us, thrifting for the vintage finds is just as fun as crafting.
Our personal style and decorating tastes go into every piece we make, helping to bring each creation to life. We use a variety of adhesives including industrial-strength adhesives, jewelry glue, and hot glue. Our supplies include paper ephemera, vintage ceramic knick-knacks, ornaments, spice tins, wooden figures, dolls, flocked animals, ribbon, glitter sprays, and flower miniatures.
