ABOUT ME:
Welcome to Megs LeVesseur Ceramics! I’m Megs and I have been working professionally in clay since 2014 but have loved the medium since I was a kid. Let’s just say I was a creative and messy kid. I dove head first into the wide world of clay at a young age, and loved every minute of it! Our studio is based in Columbus, OH, where Greta (the studio manager/cat) and I spend our days building and decorating hundreds of handmade ceramics.
ABOUT MY PRODUCTS:
My work is inspired by the bold colors and lines used in street art juxtaposed against the delicate nature of botanical forms. I use traditional hand-building techniques to construct my ceramic forms, in addition to creating dynamic surfaces by layering terra sigillata and using sgraffito to carve incised lines on the pieces’ surface.
All of my ceramics are crafted for both beauty and function, making them food, dishwasher, and microwave safe.
