ABOUT ME: Greetings from Print Witchery and the print witch herself, Lynn Rosskamp. I’ve been working in the medium of paper arts and printmaking for the last decade. I have built a small etching studio in my basement over the last year and print fine art using essentially the same technology and methods as Rembrandt and his contemporaries did. I also make fun art digitally and combine my love of history, folklore, and film with my love of paper craft to create irreverent and silly advent and countdown calendars. Though I originally hail from western PA where my folks still live, I now call Seattle, WA my home base.
ABOUT MY PRODUCTS: My advent and countdown calendars are all designed, researched and drawn by me and digitally printed and precision die cut by a small shop in Seattle. Each calendar is a fun, super low-tech daily activity and hopefully you learn something cool. Who wants a stale chalky chocolate every day when you can have cryptids or Krampus or cocktails or Chucky behind each paper door? My traditional fine line etchings and aquatints, on the other hand, look like they were cut from a dusty old book found in an antiquarian library. They are all hand drawn and etched on copper plates, then printed on archival cotton rag paper on a hand cranked etching press named Baby. The etchings come in a variety of sizes including some tiny treasures that are great for small spaces.
