My name is Sally Harless and I work under the funny moniker of Sadly Harmless. I’ve been drawing my entire life, and I can’t believe I get to do it for a living! I earned a BFA in printmaking from Indiana University in 2007 and started my career as a full-time artist and maker shortly after. I’m fascinated with the world of wild animals and have been learning about them, dreaming about them, and making art about them for over a decade. I use ink and watercolor to bring my animals to life, as well as wood animal cutouts on which I concoct dreamy color palettes with resin.
