ABOUT ME:

Hi, and welcome to the Sorcery Science maker page! My name is Carrie. I have been making geeky jewelry since 2013 when I used a laser to make my dad a serotonin-shaped keychain and decided I needed some serotonin earrings to match. I have grown from serotonin to dozens of molecules and added nature and other sciences to my jewelry along the way. I started this journey as a science teacher and my work is an extension of that.

ABOUT MY PRODUCTS:
I use wood, acrylic, and stainless steel to craft unique, wearable, statement pieces that allow you to show off your inner geek. My jewelry designs are based on organic, natural elements from the micro to the cosmic scale with molecular structure chemistry-inspired jewelry to the orbits of the planets in our solar system and everything in between. The molecular structure jewelry is based on how elements combine to make some of your favorite compounds like coffee, chocolate, happiness, and love.

I also offer nature-inspired jewelry with honeycomb and bee jewelry made with wood and yellow acrylic and butterfly jewelry made with inset acrylic pieces. I also have dinosaur jewelry, solar eclipse jewelry, and pieces based on the phases of the moon. The tinctures and tonics line includes compounds that historically were added to beauty products and medicine, like arsenic and mercury, with jewelry to match those compounds. My People in Science jewelry line is inspired by the work of famous scientists.
