ABOUT ME:

Hello, handmade fans! My name is Nora, and it’s so nice to virtually meet you! I’m the artist and creator behind those creepy cute little beasts called The Rots. From monsters to ravens to unidentifiable creatures (I’m sure their mothers know what they are), The Rots want more than anything to make you smile. Somebody called them “ugdorable” once. That was a good day. Looking for slightly off-center and a tiny bit twisted? You’re definitely in the right place.

ABOUT THE SHOP:

The Rots thrive on materials that most people would consider trash and discard. When I use plywood for my paintings, I look for the ugliest, Rottiest birch in the pile. The more nicks and craters, the better. That gives the paintings so much more character than any smooth surface ever could. Along with my original paintings and drawings, I sell prints, greeting cards, postcards and books.
