Hello, my name is Gina Chalfant. Welcome to my shop! I am an artist/potter living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I started making pottery in 1996, inspired by my love of history. Eight years ago, I found a process that allowed me to incorporate my first love drawing onto the surface of ceramics, sending my art in a whole new direction. My functional artwork celebrates nature and literature. My original focus was my love of the English countryside, but now includes animals, botanicals, and insects.

My products are made of various clay bodies including stoneware, porcelain and redware. They undergo two to four firings depending on the final product. Featuring my hand drawn artwork, transfers, and sometimes vintage or colorful floral decals. All glazes are lead and food safe. Though they are dishwasher safe, I recommend hand-washing.
