In the past two decades, Handmade Arcade has produced more than 25 events that have allowed 3,000+ maker and craft businesses generate over $4 million of self-reported sales at our events.
Can you help us continue to impact our region's creative economy? $10 helps us continue the tradition of free admission. $50 provides supplies for our hands-on activities. $100 covers professional mentorship for one youth maker. A gift of any amount will help us carry out our mission to empower makers of all ages and connect them with shoppers who care about supporting independent artists.
We’ve grown a lot since our very first market back in 2005 at Construction Junction, but these things are still true: we never take a cut of our makers’ earnings, we’re powered by a fleet of volunteers, and we need you (yes, you!) to help us keep it going.
Handmade Arcade is a Pittsburgh-based nonprofit that believes in the power of making. We support makers by connecting them with consumers and resources to improve their craft and business. We offer workshops, classes, and opportunities to the regional maker community year-round, including hosting one of the most extensive independent maker fairs in the Northeast.
