    • 9 - 10 AM: Sensory-Friendly Shopping Hour

    • 11 AM- 6 PM: General Admission Shopping

  • All tickets for the Emerging Craft Market are pay-what-you-can.

    Suggested ticket prices are $20, $10, or $5. Free tickets are available to those who need them.

  • The Emerging Craft Market will be held at the Energy Innovation Center (1435 Bedford Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15219)

  • There is a small parking lot in front of the Energy Innovation Center that is free.

    There is also additional paid parking in a large lot across the street from the venue for approximately $6.25/day.

    There is also street parking on Bedford Avenue surrounding the venue.

Accessibility FAQS

  • Yes. Limited accessible parking is available directly in the Energy Innovation Center parking lot.

  • Yes. An accessible drop-off area is available near the main entrance. There is a curb cut near the accessible parking spaces by the front doors, as well as a ramp from Bedford Avenue.

  • Yes. Accessible restrooms are available throughout the venue. For the Emerging Craft Market, all restrooms will be designated as gender-neutral. Signage will indicate which restrooms include urinals and which are equipped with changing tables.

  • Yes. The Energy Innovation Center's elevators are accessible and include Braille buttons.

  • Yes. Service animals are welcome at the Energy Innovation Center.

  • No. Wheelchairs are not available on site, so guests who require one should plan to bring their own.

  • Yes. The Emerging Craft Market will have sensory-friendly shopping on Saturday August 29 from 9 - 10 AM. Here's what you can expect:

    • There will be no DJ or music at this time.

    • Shoppers may stay as long as they’d like after the sensory-friendly shopping window has ended.

  • Breastfeeding is welcome anywhere, anytime, any place at Handmade Arcade's markets. Two private, lockable nursing rooms are available within the restroom area for nursing or lactation at the Energy Innovation Center.

  • Restroom signage will indicate which gender-neutral restrooms are equipped with changing tables.

  • Yes. Gender-neutral bathrooms are available at the Emerging Craft Market.

  • Water bottles are welcome. There is a water fountain on-site near the restrooms.

  • Handmade Arcade will have a welcome table at the entrance of the Emerging Craft Market where you can ask your questions. You can also ask our check-in volunteers for help. Throughout the event, look for Handmade Arcade volunteers wearing lanyards and black aprons with the Handmade Arcade logo.

  • Printed maps will be available on-site from volunteers or at the welcome or check-in table, and you can also scan a QR code on-site for a digital program book.

  • No. There is no need to print your ticket. You can have it ready on your mobile device when you enter the Event.

  • Children are welcome - we love having families at Handmade Arcade! Tickets are not required for children under the age of 8 years old.
