Seiko Sisco is the owner and maker of Waku Waku Baby, a handmade baby brand known for its cheerful, functional shoes and accessories crafted with her original illustrated fabrics. She is also an artist and surface pattern designer specializing in fabric design, with licensed collections through several notable fabric companies.

Originally from Japan, Seiko now calls Pittsburgh home, where she lives with her husband, two creative kiddos, and their Sheltie pup. With an educational background in chemistry and professional experience as a PhD research chemist, Seiko brings a unique blend of scientific precision and artistic creativity to everything she creates.

Since launching Waku Waku Baby at Handmade Arcade’s Spring Market in 2019, her work has been featured by The Incline and Pittsburgh Today Live, honored with the Spoonflower Small Business Grant, and can be found in boutique gift shops around the city.

Seiko served on the Handmade Arcade Advisory Committee from 2023–2024 and is a passionate advocate for Pittsburgh’s vibrant maker community.
