Caitlin Ross Ceramics creates elegant small-batch porcelain tableware, handmade from start to finish by studio potter Caitlin Ross. All work is wheel-thrown or slab-formed on handcrafted plaster molds, one piece at a time. Surface designs are all original and carved or drawn onto each piece individually by hand, or screen-printed by hand using silk screens that were created by the artist with original hand-drawn illustrations. All glazes are mixed in-house before being applied in a multi-step process involving brushes and wax, and then dipped.
