I’m a full-time artist based in Rochester NY, and painting is really at the center of what I do. My work is figurative and story-driven usually a little stylish, whimsical, emotional, and imperfect. I’m interested in people and what’s going on beneath the surface.
But I also tend to follow ideas wherever they lead, so over the years I’ve gotten into documentary filmmaking, publishing, character and toy design, and performance projects. I’ve made an award winning documentary, published a nationally distributed arts magazine, and collaborated with dancers and other artists.
So my website is really a home for all of it, the paintings, films, prints, and the different creative projects I’m constantly building.
