Reuse Textile artist Rebekah Joy and the talented Flux Bene team create one-of-a-kind wearable art pieces from secondhand clothing and fabric. Using creative pattern making and surface design techniques such as screen printing, over dyeing, painting, quilting and block printing, Flux Bene has reimagined over 3,500 garments since 2017.
Featuring large pockets, reenforced seams, and natural fibers, Flux Bene pieces are made to last, and are intended for everyday wear. All Flux Bene pieces are gender-neutral, and care is taken to offer a wide variety of sizing options to ensure that absolutely any adult can find the Flux Bene for them.
Flux Bene now offers downloadable PDF patterns and sewing guides for their designs, empowering stitchers worldwide to creatively upcycle clothing that is already in their closets and communities.
