Sullivan creates unique and one of a kind pieces by melting clear and colored glass together with a blow torch that runs on propane & oxygen at 2,500 degrees. A wide variety of techniques are used for intricate designs, color applications & sculptural work. Dan incorporates natural elements such as silver flake, crushed opal, silicon carbide & copper wire to create a galaxy like effect within the glass. In recent years he has been working with driftwood and blown glass, curating the pieces together in the form of hanging totems.
