Mary Mack Prints
Mary Tremonte is a Pittsburgh-based artist and printmaker whose work explores vibrant color, layered pattern, and the joyful intersection of visual art and everyday life. Rooted in a socially engaged practice, her Mary Mack Prints studio work often extends into collaborative projects that connect people through shared making and visual storytelling, including screenprinted bandanas, embroidered queer scout badges, handmade art prints and stationery - artwork intended for activation and adding queer flair, joy, and beauty to everyday life. Mary draws mushrooms, animals, and plants from observation and photographs, with brush and ink, and then lays out designs to be screenprinted or risograph printed onto bandanas, stationery, glassware, and more. Mary does all of their screenprinting and risograph printing out of their collective print studio Lavender Estero.
