Maker Support Programs
Maker Mentor Program
The Maker Mentor Program pairs emerging makers with experienced makers to foster connection, knowledge sharing, and peer support. Makers can participate as mentors or mentees and build meaningful relationships within the Handmade Arcade community.
Maker Affinity Groups
Affinity Groups bring together makers who share similar identities, experiences, or business goals for regular connection and peer support. These self-run groups are encouraged to meet quarterly to network, exchange ideas, and surface needs or concerns.
Crafted Conversations
The Crafted Conversations Series is a virtual, bimonthly education series open to all makers. Each session will be taught by an experienced maker who will share their paths to success, and lessons learned as they’ve navigated building their craft-based businesses.
Maker Accelerator Programs
Youth Maker Accelerator
Handmade Arcade’s Youth Maker Accelerator Program provides an annual group of youth makers with a materials stipend, free vendor booth at the Holiday Market, professional mentorship, and maker education workshops. We love supporting the next generation of artistic entrepreneurs!
BIPOC Maker Accelerator
The BIPOC Maker Accelerator Program provides an annual group of BIPOC makers with funding, mentorship, and educational support to help them thrive as creative entrepreneurs. Participants receive a business stipend, professional development workshops, promotional support, and free vender booths at our Emerging Craft & Holiday markets.
