Before the Bloom Pass, there was the 2026 Makers in Bloom Bus Tour fundraising event. On May 9th, we loaded up a motorcoach with some of our most dedicated supporters and took them beyond the booth, straight to maker studios. Participants enjoyed a full day of going behind-the-scenes to learn the processes of each maker and shopping with exclusive discounts.

Because fundraising tickets are expensive, we created the Bloom Pass as a more affordable and accessible way to support Handmade Arcade and experience in the journey on your own schedule. Proceeds from the Bus Tour and the Bloom Pass support Handmade Arcade programming, helping us to continue uplifting Pittsburgh makers. As a bonus, each Bloom Pass is stuffed with exclusive discounts from the participating 10 maker businesses!

How it Works

  • Purchase your Bloom Pass for just $10. Passes will ship in June, and discounts are active through the end of 2026.

  • Visit any of the 10+ participating makers studios & shops* at your own pace through the end of 2026 and get your Bloom Pass stamped at each location. There is no purchase necessary to get stamped. Simply show them your Bloom Pass and they’ll verify your visit!

    *Accessibility, bus route, parking, and discount info is included for each shop in the Bloom Pass.

  • Visit 8 out of 10 stops and fill out the Bloom Pass Completion form to receive your Handmade Arcade collectible gift!

  • Think of it as a craft passport!

    The Bloom Pass is a self-guided, flexible way to explore small businesses around the city. It includes tour stops from our Makers in Bloom fundraising bus tour, plus additional participating shops. Each provides exclusive in-store discounts to Bloom Pass participants. You can also receive a Handmade Arcade collectible when you visit all stops in the passport!

  • We’ve worked with each participating business to gather info on their specific shop regarding parking and entry accessibility. There are accessibility notes in the passport for each stop.

    If you are unable to visit a shop for an accessibility reason, you’re still eligible to complete the passport by visiting any 8 of the 10 stops.

  • Self-guided participants will be mailed their Bloom Pass directly!

  • Your Bloom Pass is valid through the end of 2026! Please note that business hours may vary by location, especially during the holiday season.

    If you plan to visit on or around a holiday, we recommend checking the business’s website directly for the most up-to-date hours before your visit.

  • Bloom Passes are nonrefundable.
