ABOUT ME:
Welcome to the Busy Hook Happy Heart maker page! My name is Terri Galloway and I live in the Eastern Suburbs of Pittsburgh with my husband, our two boys and two Boston Terriers named Tater Tot and Zella. I work full time as a social worker, but every chance I get, I pull out my yarn! I started crocheting when I was in college but I wasn’t very good. (Back then I thought it was a mindless activity and didn’t understand why my items were lopsided and crooked.) When I was pregnant with my oldest son, I needed something to calm my anxiety and decided to pick up the yarn and hook again, this time with much more focus and attention. The rest is history! I have been totally hooked (pun intended) ever since. Within the last few years, I learned to knit, so you will see both knit and crochet items in my shop. ABOUT MY PRODUCTS:
I love making items that are fun, colorful, cozy, and modern. While I enjoy making ALL things knit and crocheted, I focus most of my efforts on cold weather accessories. It’s just my thing! I use a wide variety of colors, so I am hoping there is something for everyone! Many of my products are made with soft, wool-free yarn; however, I also have a “Luxe Beanie” product line, which is made with luxurious 100% Merino Wool. All of my beanies come with a complimentary handmade faux fur pom pom that is attached with a button for easy removal. I also offer coordinating items so you can make a complete cozy set—a perfect gift for yourself or someone special. Thanks for stopping by!
