ABOUT ME: Hello and welcome to my shop! I’m Hannah Jones, a studio arts major at the University of Pittsburgh. Maybe you’ve noticed that I’m a huge bird nerd! It’s true—I love to birdwatch and I volunteer for BirdSafe Pittsburgh, an organization that works to reduce bird mortality in the city. Birds also inspire my artwork. This spring I challenged myself to draw one migratory bird species every day in May, with the goal of capturing the personality of each species. I’m excited to share and sell the results of that project with you! I have originals, prints, and greeting cards of the series, which was featured on KDKA here. I also have t-shirts and other art prints for sale that reflect my passion for conservation and wildlife.
ABOUT MY PRODUCTS: My original artwork was created using mixed media (paint, marker, pen, colored pencil and ink). The prints are high-quality Giclee reproductions on matte paper and are sourced from a Pittsburgh small business print shop. All are numbered and signed. Most of my prints are 4 x 6 inches (easy to frame!), and some are sold already framed and ready for gift-giving. Can’t decide on just one? My greeting card sets each feature five birds from my Migratory May series. My t-shirts are the wonderfully soft Bella + Canvas brand and are printed on demand.
