My designs often come from deep meditation or dreams. It is my hope that you receive a sense of well-being when you bring one of my pieces into your life. I want you to feel affirmed; to experience comfort; to feel confident and seen. Mmmm Yes! I’m here for anyone who wants their home and person to visually communicate our beautiful, harmonious and diverse world.
The personal is political. My over 30 year arts practice reassured me that we not only deserve to see ourselves everywhere, but that, everyone needs to see diaspora aesthetics all around us. My designs endeavor to uplift, inspire and bring meaning to your life. My Spirit Ladies – the womanist throw pillows I make – constantly get testimonials about the comfort and joy they bring.
