ABOUT US:
Welcome to the Whimsical Wonders maker page! We are Melissa and Lew McCabe, a crafty husband and wife duo. We’ve been having fun with silverware since 2006, when we made our first silverware wind chimes for guests at our annual holiday party. Our product line has since evolved to include many different items, including jewelry, wind chimes, accessories, and most recently, lamps. We scour flea-tiques, auctions, and other sources to find the ingredients for our crafty stew! Our primary medium is silver plated silverware and other serving items, like teapots, sugar bowls, and creamers. Our goal is to give new life to these once-treasured items and reinvent them into usable, wearable works of art that have been saved from a potential life sentence in a landfill.
ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS:
Each item we make is handcrafted with love in our home studio. Lew makes most of the jewelry items and lamps, while also getting pieces ready for Melissa’s windchimes. Melissa makes all of the chimes and finishes the jewelry and lamps by adding clasps, magnets, and adornments. It is truly teamwork that makes our dream work and we hope you enjoy it!
