On Friday, December 6 and Saturday, December 7, 2019, Handmade Arcade will celebrate its 
15th anniversary at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Downtown Pittsburgh.

About the Annual Marketplace
Held in December, Handmade Arcade’s award-winning annual marketplace provides an unparalleled opportunity for independent crafters, makers, designers and artists to interact with more than 13,000 attendees at a high-profile and highly-anticipated marketplace, while also sharing their products, creative practice and passions. Attendees come from all over Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio and beyond to shop, create and be inspired.

Handmade Arcade presents an annual marketplace that:

  • Showcases 250 innovative craft-based artists, designers and makers from around the region and country
  • Empowers makers of all ages
  • Recruits emerging and established artists, new and returning vendors and under-served audiences
  • Features arts groups, nonprofits and individual artists in its popular Hands-on Handmade Activity Area
  • Bolsters the local craft and maker economy
  • Connects artists to more than 12,000 attendees in one day
  • Stimulates economic opportunity and growth
  • Features never-before-seen emerging artists in its Craft Corridor
  • Supports Youth Makers through a scholarship program

Show and Sell: a spring pop-up market presented by Handmade Arcade

As part of its 15th anniversary as Pittsburgh’s first and largest independent craft fair, Handmade Arcade presented 30 aspiring crafters right where it all began in 2004.

Over 1,800 people joined us at Construction Junction in Point Breeze on April 27, 2019, to meet and shop from a new generation of Pittsburgh crafters. Thank you, Pittsburgh for your support!

Handmade Arcade 2018: December 8, 2018

Handmade Arcade 2018 took place at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center on Saturday, December 8. 

Our largest event ever, Handmade Arcade 2018 included over 12,000 attendees from all over Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio and beyond; 230 Artists, Crafters, Makers and Designers; 12 Youth Maker; 19 Emerging Makers; 20 FREE activities in our Hands-on Handmade activity area and more!
